Jesus Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds, and at PGBC we strive to do the same.  This is why you will find ministries geared to various needs.  We have a place for everyone to study the Bible, fellowship together, and minister to others through various opportunities of service. We encourage our members to be involved in ministry, as we believe we have been saved to serve Christ and His church.

We worship regularly at 7634 Gann Road in Hixson, Tennessee.   We have two worship services on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  Bible Study is also offered each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages from the nursery to senior adults.   On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., we have study classes and programs for the children, youth and adults.  On the first Wednesday of each month, we have a fellowship dinner for everyone instead of the study classes and programs.  Our church is aligned with the Hamilton County Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.

                                                 Upcoming Events

Attention all fishermen and fisherwomen.  We are starting a new outreach, it is called "Fishers of Men" fishing club.  It will be a ministry of Pleasant Grove to outreach fishermen in the church and our community.  If this is something you would be interested in see Brian Winton for info. 

Church Work day will be January 30, 2010 from 9:00 - 2:00.  Lunch will be served.  If you can help, please plan to  be here.  See Larry Wilson for any questions.

Church-wide Valentine Banquet will be Sunday February 14 at 6:00.  There will be food, games, and door prizes.  The cost will be $5.00.  If you plan to come, please sign up in church office.
