Jesus Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds, and at PGBC we strive to do the same.  This is why you will find ministries geared to various needs.  We have a place for everyone to study the Bible, fellowship together, and minister to others through various opportunities of service. We encourage our members to be involved in ministry, as we believe we have been saved to serve Christ and His church.

We worship regularly at 7634 Gann Road in Hixson, Tennessee.   We have two worship services on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  Bible Study is also offered each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages from the nursery to senior adults.   On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., we have study classes and programs for the children, youth and adults.  On the first Wednesday of each month, we have a fellowship dinner for everyone instead of the study classes and programs.  Our church is aligned with the Hamilton County Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.

                                              Upcoming Events

Mission Trip - Our church Mission Trip to Cherokee, North Carolina will be July 13th – 17th. Bro. Darreyl will be staying in North Carolina the next week for missions. We need your prayers as we travel and that many will accept Christ as their personal Savior.

Special Event: All men (6th grade and older) are invited to Camp Columbus for a camp out on Friday night, July 24th and Fishing tournament on Saturday morning, July 25th. On Friday night we will have a good time of fellowship and grill steaks and potatoes and the fishing tournament to begin early Saturday morning. Children’s Ministry Summer Fun: On Wednesday nights for the month of July the Children’s Ministry will have Crafty Critters, Fun In The Son Games, Movie Munchie Night, Kitchen Kapers and more. Please see Valery Kinzer for more information.
