Darreyl                                                                                            “The Call Of Abraham”                                                                                                               Gen. 12:1-2 Invitation Hymn                                                                                             #505                                                                                                      “He Touched Me” Benediction Postlude                                                          INFORMATION                                                      CLEO MATTHEWS:  Ms. Cleo went home to be with the Lord on January 21st.  She has been a faithful member of the Ladies Bethany class as well as a member of our church for 79 years.    She is the longest serving member of our church and will be greatly missed.  We believe she is cheering us on with the great cloud of witnesses mentioned in the Bible (Hebrews 12:1).  Deacon’s Meeting:  The Deacon’s meeting will be Tuesday, January 26th at 6:30 p.m.    Staff Meeting:  There will be a Staff meeting on Tuesday, January 26th at 5:00 p.m. CHURCH WORK DAY:  We will have a church workday on Saturday, January 30th from 9am until 2pm.  Lunch will be served.  If you have any work-order request from your area, please contact someone on the Building & Grounds committee regarding the work needed. Mission TRIP:  We will be taking adults and youth (that will be going into the 6th grade and up).  We will be spending a week in Cherokee, NC, working at the campgrounds and providing VBS for a local church.  Also, we will be visiting the Cherokee people at the nursing home on the reservation along with street witnessing.  Special training will be required.  Fishers Of men:  The 2010 season is upon us and we are accepting memberships now.  The yearly cost is $30 (this includes 1 adult and 1 younger fisher).  Pick up a new brochure located in the foyer (take as many as you want to give to friends, family, businesses, etc.).  We will start meeting in March, but if you have any questions or want to sign up now, please contact Brian Winton at 423.304.3257 or e-mail bwntn@comcast.net. HACOBA:  At this time of the year HaCoBa is in need for all foods – vegetables, dry cereals, meats, and money, etc, so please continue to give to this very important ministry. Adult Bible Study:  On Sunday and Wednesday evenings through January, the adults are having a Bible study “Victory In The Darkness”.  Everyone come and be apart of this wonderful study. Valentine Banquet:  There will be a Valentine Banquet on Sunday evening, February 14th at 6:00 p.m. We will have lots of food, games, door prizes and more.  The cost will be $5.00 per person.  If you will be attending, please sign up in the church office.  This information is needed to prepare the food.
