Fishers of Men
Christian Bass Club
Mission
Fishers of Men, a Christian sportsmen club, is a partnership of Christian sportsmen and sportswomen, gathering together, growing in our faith, and evangelizing to our community through outdoor related sports, seminars, events and competitions.
Our Call
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he
saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his
brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the
lake, for they were fishermen. "Come, follow me,"
Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." At
once they left their nets and followed him. Matt 4:18-20
Belief
As followers of Christ, we believe we are all called to be “Fishers of Men”, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as laid out in His Great Commission. Members of Fishers of Men believe that by spending time with each other at outdoor related sports, seminars, events, and competitions, God
will reveal himself through them, and place a call on the lives of the people we are in contact with.
Training
Fishers of Men offers a monthly Bible Study and Discipleship opportunities.
We will be adding our monthly meeting info and tournament schedule soon. We will be taking memberships starting on January 2, 2010. Stay tuned for more information. The yearly membership dues will be $35.00.
