Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry offers programs and activities for children four years to 5th grade.  On Sunday mornings, we have graded Sunday School classes for the children to learn from God’s Word at 9:45 a.m.   During the Morning Worship Service at 11:00 a.m., we offer “Kid’s Own Worship” Children’s Church for children up through 2nd grade.  On Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. during the worship hour, we have the S.O.S. program which provides fun activities for the children. 

On Wednesday evenings, we offer Faith Weaver Friends.  The children are involved in the same Bible Story in Faith Weavers as they have received on Sunday during Kid’s Own Worship time.  It just gives another opportunity to reinforce what they have already learned.  During Faith Weaver Friends, the children earn Keys for their different activities such as community projects, memorizing Bible verses, family involvement, and helping the needy.

There are sometimes special Children’s Group activity on Saturday.  Some of these activities have included Chucky Cheese, Skating, Bowling, and Swimming.  The kids all seem to enjoy these outings.

During the summer, we will be having Vacation Bible School.  There will also be an church day camp in July.  The mornings are spent here at the church studying and doing projects while the afternoons are filled with trips and fun.

We also have other special activities for our children such as an Easter Egg Hunt in the spring, a Fall Festival (for the entire family) in late October and a Christmas program for the Children in December.
